Why Truffle exists

Sean Griffith spent years inside high-volume hiring at SimpleTexting. He saw the same pattern everywhere. Recruiters drowning in applications. Phone screens that revealed less every quarter. AI tools promising to replace the part of the job recruiters actually liked.

    Resumes got AI-polished. Cover letters got AI-written. Even take-home assessments got fed to ChatGPT. Every traditional screening method got easier to game in two years.

    Recruiters used to be able to muscle through application volume. Easy-apply changed that. Hiring teams got smaller. The old workflow stopped working and nothing emerged to replace it.

    Every competitor decided the answer was an algorithm that picks for you. Recruiters told us they don't trust that, and they shouldn't. Their value is judgment.
