Our story
We started Truffle with a simple but stubborn question:

“How do you know if someone is good?”

The more we asked it, the deeper we had to dig. Because “good” isn’t a skills matrix. It’s chemistry. Curiosity. Alignment. A candidate’s je ne sais quoi: the thing no bullet-pointed résumé will ever capture.

We’ve hired at scale. We’ve built teams that moved mountains. We’ve watched incredible candidates get buried under keyword filters and ghosted in backlogged inboxes. We knew there had to be a better way.

And then AI happened.

LLMs are able to apply to hundreds of jobs in a click, all with perfectly tailored, keyword-stuffed CVs meant to game traditional hiring systems. Suddenly every role has thousands of souped-up applications with very little differentiation, making it even more time-consuming to find your needle in the haystack.
