January 2026: bulk actions, batch exports, and one less click
The most common piece of recruiter feedback last quarter wasn't about AI. It was 'let me move 40 candidates at once.' We shipped it.
The most-requested change in our Q4 customer calls wasn’t about AI scoring or video review. It was simpler than that:
“Let me move 40 candidates at once.”
We heard it on every call from October on. Shipped in January.
What’s new
Multi-select on the candidate list. Tick the checkbox on any candidate row. A multi-select action bar appears at the bottom of the screen. From there, you can:
- Advance
- Hold
- Reject
- Mark as Hired
- Delete
No more clicking into each profile to change a status. No more nine-step keyboard dance to clear a tab.
Bulk export. The same multi-select drives the new Export option in the “More” dropdown. CSV or JSON. Export all candidates or just the selected subset. The status column uses stage-aware labels (e.g. “For Review”, “On Hold”, “Hired”) that match what you see in the UI, so the file you hand to your ATS or BI tool actually lines up with your dashboard.
Why this matters
The Magic Review flow we’ve been polishing for months is great when you’re doing focused, one-at-a-time evaluation. But there’s a different mode of work where you’ve already made the call and you just want to clear the queue: 20 obvious passes, six obvious yeses, three to hold for a recheck. That mode wanted bulk actions. It now has them.
If you process a high-volume role, this is going to be the change that saves you the most time this quarter.
Coming in February
The first version of Magic Review ships February 5. Side-by-side panel, keyboard shortcuts, no page reloads. More on that next month.
