Does Truffle integrate with my ATS?
Four different conversations in two weeks asked about five different tools: Teamtailor, Ashby, Paychex, Indeed, Glassdoor. Each one has a route into Truffle, and here's which route fits which tool.

Four different conversations with Truffle asked a version of the same question in the same two weeks, and no two of them named the same tool. One wanted Teamtailor. One wanted Paychex. Two wanted Indeed and Glassdoor. One prospect had already started wiring up an integration with Ashby before ever asking whether Truffle officially supported it.
Each of those five has a route into Truffle. The route just looks different depending on whether the tool is an ATS, a payroll system, or a job board, for the same reason we found answering this exact question for Indeed: the plug people picture is rarely the plug the job actually needs.
Update, October 2026: Ashby and Pinpoint now connect natively, and Indeed applications import into Truffle automatically. The sections below reflect both.
How Truffle connects to the rest of your stack
Truffle has four kinds of connection, and most stacks use one or two of them:
- Native connections. Ashby and Pinpoint connect from Truffle’s Integrations page, with results posted back to the candidate where your team already works. Breezy HR, Bullhorn, JazzHR, Recruitee, Teamtailor and Workable connect natively too, some from Truffle’s Integrations page and some from the ATS’s own marketplace. - Zapier. Two actions, Invite Candidate and Interview Completed, move candidates from your ATS into Truffle and push results back out. Greenhouse, Lever and BambooHR connect this way, and so does any other app with a Zapier listing.
- REST API and webhooks. The API covers custom builds. Webhooks fire on two events, when a candidate completes a screening and when a resume finishes scoring, so your own systems can react without anyone checking Truffle by hand. API access needs a request that Truffle approves first.
- Email auto-import. Every position has its own import address. Job boards that email you each application, including Indeed, LinkedIn, and ZipRecruiter, can send those emails straight to it, and each candidate is added to the position. For Indeed, add the address in the job’s own settings rather than forwarding, so your invites reach candidates in their Indeed inbox.

Teamtailor and Paychex: the ATS route
Teamtailor
Teamtailor connects to Truffle natively. You map a Teamtailor stage, and when you move a candidate into it, Truffle sends them the screening. When they finish, the match score, a summary and a screening link write back to the candidate in Teamtailor. The Teamtailor integration page has the setup steps.
Paychex
Paychex is the odd one out here, because it isn’t really an ATS in the way the others are. It’s payroll and HR software that happens to include applicant tracking as a bundled feature, which means a fair number of small businesses end up with candidate data sitting in Paychex without ever having chosen it as their hiring system. For that setup, inviting by email is usually the simpler move: export names and emails, choose Paste from spreadsheet in Truffle and paste the list, and each candidate gets an invitation to the screening, up to 50 per send. If Paychex’s own Zapier app is available on your plan, the Zapier route works too.
Indeed and Glassdoor: the job board route
The other two questions weren’t really ATS questions at all. Indeed and Glassdoor are job boards, places candidates find your posting. The connection that fits a job board is the one that catches applications as they arrive.
Indeed
Indeed applications import into Truffle automatically. In Truffle, open the position, go to Get candidates, turn on Auto-import applicants, and copy the import address. In Indeed, choose Edit job post, then Application method, click + Add email and paste the address, and tick Send an individual email each time someone applies. From then on, every Indeed application arrives in Truffle, and Truffle’s invite reaches the candidate in their Indeed inbox, from your company. Add the address in Indeed rather than forwarding Indeed’s emails, because Indeed only delivers the invite when the address is on the job. Indeed usually sends no resume, so turn on Resume scoring and candidates add theirs at the end of their interview the interview. Glassdoor
Glassdoor’s employer tools work differently by account, so start with your posting settings. If your Glassdoor job lets you set an external application URL, point it at your Truffle Position Link. If Glassdoor emails you applications, send them to your position’s import address. Email from senders other than Indeed, LinkedIn, and ZipRecruiter waits for review, where a manager or owner can choose Always allow for that address so future applications import on their own. Paste from spreadsheet covers anyone you’ve already collected through Glassdoor, the same way it covers a Paychex export.
Truffle works with or without an ATS
Every position gets a standalone Position Link that handles resume upload, qualification questions, and a one-way interview if the role calls for one, whether or not anything else in your stack knows Truffle exists. If you’re one of the small businesses running hiring without a real ATS in the first place, which describes most of the owners and GMs we build for, that’s not a workaround. It’s the default way resume screening works here.

Does Truffle integrate with Indeed or Glassdoor?
Indeed applications import automatically: add your position’s import address to the Indeed job and tick “Send an individual email each time someone applies”, and each application arrives in Truffle.
