Requirements

Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred.

Basic math skills and familiarity with handling cash and credit transactions.

Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer operations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve customer issues effectively.

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Friendly and positive attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service.

Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

Greet customers as they enter and thank them for dining with us.

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.

Handle cash transactions, credit card payments, and issue receipts or change as needed.

Resolve customer complaints and inquiries courteously and professionally.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and dining space.

Collaborate with kitchen and staff to ensure orders are prepared and served promptly.

Monitor and restock inventory of cash register supplies and dining materials.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.

Balance cash register at the end of each shift and prepare daily financial reports.

Assist with opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
