The Restaurant Dishwasher plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. Requirements

  • Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools.
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, utensils, and other cooking instruments, and place them in racks for the dishwashing machine.
  • Inspect cleaned dishes for cleanliness and store them in designated areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing station and kitchen areas, including sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Dispose of trash and waste in accordance with sanitation procedures.
  • Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed during busy periods.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the kitchen manager.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages to uphold a clean working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient operations.
  • Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned by the kitchen manager.
